Mitigation Projects and Budgets
Currently the Mitigation Section has projects spanning several disasters.
All totaled the projects total
$15, 501,230.00, and are working with approximately
90
participants.
Our most current disasters are:
Disaster
1838 was approved for a total of
$ 9,383,507.00
This disaster contains 16 acquisition projects in various areas as well as a project for
IFLOWS and additional HAZUS data to be collected.
Disaster
1893 has been allocated
$ 2,384, 775.00
At this point FEMA has only completed evaluations and given approval of one of the projects
but we expect responses soon.
Disaster
1918 has been allocated
$ 2,900,897.00
Again we are waiting on approvals from FEMA to begin projects from this disaster.
Disaster
1903 has been allocated
$ 832,051.00 and has 3 projects.
FEMA has issued 2 project approval and must issue approvals on the other two
projects.
