​​The Mission Support section of WVEMD plays a critical role in various areas including logistics management and resource distribution for emergency response and recovery, ensuring reliable communication across agencies during emergencies, providing accurate stream flow data to mitigate flood risks, and maintaining constant vigilance through 24-hour monitoring of safety conditions related to mines, chemicals, schools, and emergency events to ensure the well-being of West Virginia.

SIRN: WVEMD's aim is to ensure reliable, secure, and interoperable communication across agencies in West Virginia during emergency situations.

IFlows Stream Gauges: The IFLOWS team provides accurate and timely stream flow data to help mitigate flood risk and protect lives and property in West Virginia.

West Virginia Watch Center 24 Hour Coverage: The Watch Center maintains a constant state of vigilance, monitoring safety conditions related to mines, chemicals, schools, weather, and emergency events to ensure the well-being of West Virginia.
